how to hook on guitar strap?

i just bought an acoustic guitar and i don't know how to hook on the strap. it has no places to put the strap so yeah.

There should be a button on the end for one of the holes in the strap, and most straps come with a "string" on the end you use to tie it on , under the strings, up at the head, by the tuning pegs. This is how it 's done in the olden daze.
You can always purchase a set of quick release strap pegs from Dunlop. There are other makers as well, but I like the Dunlop ones.

Go buy some strap buttons at a guitar store. They're like $1 each.

No, Strap buttons are screwed into the block at the end and on the "heel" of the neck. Glue does not hold well at shear angles.

That's what I thought, but since he was referring to it as a "button" I thought maybe there was a glue-on kind too.

I'm serious though, go to a guitar store, get some of the strap nuts and get them to put them in.
