How to hook 2 computers to one modem?

Is it possible to hook up two computers to one cable modem? If so how is it done?

yup, there is many ways to do it. One way is setting up ICS, one computer needs two NIC cards, the other computer with one NIC. Have the cable modem hooked up to the computer with 2 NIC's, and use a crossover cable and connect the second nic to the other computer. If you use XP you can just enable ICS and run the network wizard setup. Easier way is buying a router.
