How to have cable in a room with no outlet (wireless??)

Hi,
I am trying to setup a tv with cable in a room with no outlet, I don't want to run cables, what are my choices? I read an article on using wireless RF and IR signal distributors to setup a vcr in the room with the outlet, and then it will go wireless to the tv, but im having a hard time finding a place that sell these. Does anyone have any suggestions?
