How to hack Glass2k.exe

Hi I run this small program On my Gateway netbook running Vista sp2 to provide transparency on some windows and my taskbar. I have been using the program since 2008 whwn I bought this netbook. Anyways I run it on startup and everything is fine except it always runs a splashscreen. There is no setting to disable the screen so I have looked at it for 10 years. I have tried via Resource Hacker and another hex program to get rid of it but I can't find anything. I am far from an expert user so hex editors are over my head. Still it is something I would like to accomplish. The program is no longer developed and hasn't been for years. Any help appreciated

So? Run it through a debugger, find the sub-routine that it calls to put up the splash screen, patch it out with some NOPs, easy-peasy.

(If you're an assembly-language programmer, as I once was.)

Edit: If you really want to learn, look up "ORC+ cracking tuts".

Thanks for reply. I'm not any kind of programmer. I just want to get rid of the splash screen. So where do i get a "debugger" to do this. what's a "NOP". And If it's so easy why don't you download Glass2k from here hack it and show me how you did it. It's a small program only 3 megs. Come on Larry be a sport.
