How to go into "correcting mode" in Word?

Hello. I now need my proofreaders to help me over the net now that I'm at college. I remember seeing/hearing aobut a "correcting mode," where everything is inserted in red or bold, and the changes could be made/deleted, and probably some other cool features I can't remember. I can't find it. Has anyone used it? Thanks.

Its under tools/options and one of the options in there says enable autocorrection on spelling and grammar.
