Set your clock back to say august 10th.
go into system protection and do a system restore from an earlier time(doesn't matter if they are from Windows 10 pick the earliest one) and restore. When your PC comes back go into backup and recovery Go Back should now be visible again.
I had this idea and tried it on two PCs which had Win10 on them for over a month and both worked.

The best way would be to use the image of the OS you made before the upgrade? ;)

I like my situation even better - I have 3 OS drives: Win 7, Win 8.1, and Win 10. They all started as 7. I cloned 7, and upgraded it to 8.1. I cloned 8.1 and upgraded it to 10. I have all three systems on separate drives, all with the same programs, etc. These are in mobile racks so I can select which OS I want to boot to. Makes "going back" totally unnecessary.

But, your tip is a good one for many folks just as Elixer's is. BTW, each of those OS drives has a cloned copy. I believe in planned redundancy. :)
