How to go about life, when you are in the midst of depression and problems:
1. Pray for God?s will and seek it.
2. Suffer, when His will is not what you wanted it to be, and is causing you to go through immense pain instead.
3. Don?t act surprised when God doesn?t make things easier,
4. You aren?t off the hook until your deathbed, until then expect a very very hard life, until then God will put you through whatever he feels necessary to accomplish his will, even if it means unfathomable pain.
5. Note that: God is a more like a really hard track coach, not your good ol' friendly friend.
6. God will not guide you; He?d rather have you flounder about on your own, *sarcasm* that way you can experience the sickening feeling when you are in pain and can?t find your cure. */sarcasm*
7. God will provide your needs, that is, unless He wants you to die or suffer (or be in lack of) for some unknown reason that you may never know.
8. God?s will may be for you to be a missionary, go into another country, be alone, be hungry, be hated, be persecuted, suffer immensely when other people torture you and cause you to die in a long a painful process.
And He may have you live through a childhood up until that point that is difficult as well.
9. Know that God?s will is going to take a lot of hard hard unrelenting work.
10. Know that God will rarely tell you what?s going on, rarely give you a firm indication about anything, probably won?t heal you, probably won?t help you, and rarely do anything for you, but rather let you stick it out on your own.
11. But just keep praying for God?s will to be done, because it?s not like His will wouldn?t get done anyway, He needs you to pray for it to happen in order for it to happen, because it?s not like He would do this on His own.
