How to go about getting non-supported software

Long story short, I need a copy of Oracle 8i for Solaris, which is no longer supported by Oracle. I'm afraid to call Oracle since I'm sure they'll try and get me to purchase a newer version, something which we really don't need to do (nor can afford.)

The Oracle CD I have doesn't work. All licensing etc. is legit, but I don't know how to approach this. E-bay didn't have anything.
 
1) Call Oracle and do not let them sell you an upgrade.

2) Post in S/W forums - You may get better response.
