I'm tring to ghost a HP Omnibook XE2 with a 3com 3CCFE574BT pcmcia card. I have spoke with HP, Norton, and 3com about this with no help. (They don't support Ghosting)
I've got the card working normally, only by using an unsupported 3com driver.

Mind you, I'm doing this over a network as well.

After booting up with the Ghost disk, this is what I get;

3com-Megahertz 574 LAN PC Card Dos NDIS Driver v1.2.003
WARNING: 3com-Megahertz 574 LAN PC Card could not be configured using Card Services.

No Card Services or Card Services is not responding.
Driver will now try to enable 3com-Megahertz 574 LAN PC Card using PCMCIA host hardward.

Error: Enabler failed. Network adapter not found or not responding.

From what I've read it seems there is something related to DOS memory that needs to be freed up or something with the Socket services for the card.
I'm not very good with DOS, but would appreciate any help possible.

Thanks

BTT,

I also noticed that it will work in another laptop, just not in the omnibook.

Maybe just get a 2.5 to 3.5 HDD adapter and toss it into a PC to ghost it?
