How to get WinXP from wanting to load DAO.msi

This involves a fresh install of WinXP Pro SP-1. First there were the usual (for me) conflicts between Norton Systemworks (especially NAV) and the Audigy 2ZX software. After ironing that out, the other 30 programs were installed and last was Roxio Easy Media Creator 7. After installing that proggie, everytime its icon is clicked and the program starts, WinXP Installer attempts to install DAO.msi which I am guessing is Data Access Objects. From Goggling, I have found that this happens with some other software too. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Roxio and updated it to no avail and also did a Detect and Repair to Word 2003 as was suggested that would cause Windows to reinstall DAO which did not happen. While this problem is not damaging as far as I can tell, it IS aggravating. Any solutions that I should try so that WinXP stops trying to install DAO.msi which does not exist anywhere on my hard drives or on the Roxio install CDs??
