How to get to modem settings...

Hey all, I got signed up with magnet (in ireland) for broadband, and they sent me a wireless modem and it works just great. The thing is, I want to be able to get into the modem settings and switch off the wireless, as I'm just using a cable to connect so I don't want to worry about someone else using my connection, as I have a small download limit. It's a

Maybe a start would be how do I find out what it's ip address is? I've tried using Ping Plotter and netstat to figure out the ip address. But when I try and goto that address it doesn't give me a response.

Any help appreciated, thanks!
 
I assume that waht you got is a Combo Modem/Router.

It very very nice of you if you would tell us which model.

Open a HelpDesk ticket at Telsey's support site, and tell them that you need to change/configure the Wireless so that you can use it with your laptop.

If you get a straight answer, you might get from them, the way to set to the menu and disable the Wireless or atleast secure it to the max.
