I've been trying for awhile now but still not 100% success.
Basically I am trying to make my own video wallpaper like what Windows Dreamscene and VLC Media player does.
I can get the video to play on the desktop, and so on, but not behind the shortcuts/icons like Vistas dreamscene does. VLC calls it "DirectX Wallpaper". I'm not sure how they can get the handle to the proper wallpaper window.
I've tried making "SHELLDLL_DefView", "SysListView32", and so on the parent of the video window with no success.
Does anyone have any idea's on how I can get this to work? Thanks for any info. 🙂
