Also, you can use brake cleaner/electric motor cleaner. This stuff qwill dissolve pretty much any sticky/greasy stuff.

lighter fluid and nail polish remover is the best i've seen, just use it with a Q-tip for the best results i've seen

I use vegetable oil and a paper towel
then clean it with some rubbing alcohol

btw, if u use rubbing alcohol, use the isoprophyl alcohol. It leaves less residue than the ethyl stuff.
