Redhat 7.1

Kyro 2 64MEG.

No drivers, I just want simple X support, 16 bit, 1024x768.

What steps do I have to follow to make the damn thing work!

I can move aorund the command line, and edit files, just don't know what to edit.

Thanks. I don't want hardware acceleration, jsut wanna be able to use the KDE gui.

Thanks.

Well, it should be working wit KDE right now. I don't have either a Kyro in my machine(Which runs Mandrake 8.1), or Mandrake on my bro's system right now either, but I might have his vid board in mine soon, so I might be able to help ya then. Other than that, I'm pretty sure all the new kernels should have native 2d support, and even VESA support for the Kyro2, so you could try recompiling, (If you're into that stuff.) 3D should be here by the end of the month, but they're still debating on whether or not they should be open source.
