How to get skunk out from under house

My wife told me one of her coworkers got a skunk stuck in their basement...it had crawled through some gap in the foundation or something (they have an old ass house). Anyway, the coworkers husband actually took a bunch of chicken wire and constructed a hallway that attached to the basement door and then funneled its way outside and sealed it up before opening the door to the basement. It apparently worked...although that seems like a lot of construction to solve a problem.

Also, baby skunks are painfully cute...they follow their mother around like a line of baby ducks!
