I love this game, and I just recently got rid of my dual boot with win 98, and everything else I play runs fine in 2k, but this one program. Tried updating it, but the most current version is on the CD I have already.
Im running win2k SP2, by the way, but I tried on another machine I have without the service pack, and it still didn;t work.
What happens is, you double click the shorcut, your computer acts like its doing something for less than a second, and boom, thats it, no error messages, no nothing, I checked the task manager, and it never even appears in it.
Tried using all those compatability mode things, but none of them worked.
Tried setting my desktop to 256 under all I tried(the game runs in 256 color btw), to no avail.
Help please, or at least tell me to move on to another(comparable tower sim)game
