I'm sure this has been asked before, but really, I've been super caredul about my latest e-mail address and I'm getting slammed by two items.

First is the Nigerian message as seen here. I get these about twice a day or more. Each time, the e-mail address in the header info is unique, but indeed real. However, each time it is different.

Second is the latest e-mail worm that poses as a Microsoft patch, and unfortunately I can't remember the name. Again, the e-mail addy for this is also always unique. I receive AT LEAST two messages per attack:

1) From: postservice@america.com, return-path: t.ieda@jcom.home.ne.jp, TO: "Internet User" <receiver@mxdomain.com>
Hi. I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned below could not be delivered to one or more destinations. Undeliverable to seamki@america.com

2) From: "MS Corporation Internet Security Center" <>, Return-path: t.ieda@jcom.home.ne.jp, TO: "Microsoft User" <user@confidence.msdn.com>
Microsoft User, this is the latest version of security update, the "September 2003, Cumulative Patch" update which resolves all known security vulnerabilities affecting...etc etc

Someone please - help this end! How can I stop these? This e-mail is off my own server, and the only option included is the Spam Filter, which has the ability to block an IP, E-mail, or website. Unfortunately, since it changes every single time, this won't work, and there are no options for filtering subject headers and the like. Are there any other methods I can use?! Since alot of this is viruses, I really don't want to download it to my computer first and filter it there (i.e. I use Eudora)

Setup rules in your inbox. It won't stop the messages from coming in, but you can automatically delete them. You can also find an Email service somewhere that does active RBL scanning and domain blocking for known spammers.
