how can I get rid of that loud noise at ati's radeon ddr? It is louder than my cpu fan and case fan together. As well it doesnt stop in sleep mode!!

Mine does that occasionally too due to worn/dry? fan bushings. I guess you can try to remove the sticker on top of the fan and see if there is a hole in the center that may allow you to put 1/2 drop of lube on the fan pinion.

Ati does have a 5year warranty on the retail Radeon and I guess you could try and get a new fan from them.
 
Mine is whisper slient, literally. I have to put my ear down near the card with the case off to even hear it. Something must be wrong with yours. Like the prior post said, it should be covered by the warranty.
 
i used WD40 on mine. it was louder than my 60mm Sunon fan. now it's nice and quiet. it's easy to take the fan apart from the heatsink. use a very samll philip driver.
