How to get rid of telemarketers (get off lists)

sure, making fun of them is a good laugh.. but its gettin old.... i want the calls to stop completely... isnt there some master list that can get me off these lists?

yeah ask them to remove you from their list and record when they call. my understanding is if they call you again after you have asked them to remove you from their list you can sue them. (i remember reading about it - something about a law suit up to $6500 per phone call)

I believe you can sue them for several hundred dollars if they continue to call after you've asked them to remove your name.
