ok I know my laptop's been kinda weird for the past week, but today the Nimda virus simply exploded on my system! what do I have to do to COMPLETE clean it out?
I have norton system works 2001 on WinME. It's a dell inspiron 8000. Right now Norton Antivirus is doing a complete scan, I set it to delete any infected files found. I downloaded "Fixnimda.com" made by Symantec and another program called "NIMDASCN" to try to clean out my system. At a point the Fixnimda.com program reported all files deleted, but then shortly afterwards my Norton Virus quarantine started to fill up with files again (I set it to automatically try to repair, if can't quarantine).
