Yep. Bleach works great, but you'll still need to scrub it.
I uses a sponge that has a Scotch brite pad on one side with my bleach. Make sure you vent the bathroom well as the fumes will rip your sinus's/lungs/and tastes buds all to hell.

Be careful, and don't mix bleach with other detergents unless you KNOW FOR SURE it's okay.

Don't use oxyclean - that's the most OVERRATED crap on earth.

Just buy some Tylex or a cleaner that is advertised as a mildew remover. Then scrub that shiznit :)

Yup, you might just wake up dead if you mix the wrong stuff. (bleach + ammonia = deadly)

Almost anything will get rid of it temporarilly. As far as I know, no product will get rid of it permanently. The conditions that let mildew form in the first place will still be there after you clean these spots off... Your bathroom needs a complete change in its lifestyle.

try one of those powers that will clean but not harm the tub. use a sponge that is a little rough and clean. also, as a preventitive....use of of those daily shower sprays after each time you shower. whatever you use, let it sit for a while

Seriously though, look for this book called Haley's Hints. It's like $45 but it has a huge list of things you have around the house that can double as household cleaners. Toothpaste for instance is great for getting stains our of clothing.

Do you know what grout is? I don't think that you really want to "get it out".
