I fell asleep last night while cooking some pasta...

Anyway, I slept through firealarms for a little bit, but when I woke up...apartment smelled really bad.

Anything I can do to help? Right now I'm just trying to air it out.

Dude, that smell is awful. Plus it takes forever to get out of the pan. I'd say you'd need to air out the area for a while and spray some stuff.

to get the burnt gunk off the pot: soap + water soak for a day
to get the smell off fabrics: febreeze
to get the smell out of carpets: arm and hammer carpet & room odor eliminator if you just recently vacuumed, sprinkle plain old baking soda just before you vacuum
to get the smell out of air: baking soda / one of those plug-in things. circulate the air out of your place with fans / open windows / etc asap.
