I made the mistake of starting a second windows 2000 advanced server installation on my computer. Trying to figure out how to get rid of that 2nd installation. Checked on google and microsoft and couldn't find an answer. I found solutions for windows 2000 and NT 4.0 but that doesn't work for win2000 advanced server....

From the first Install of Win2k Server you can delete the Windows Folder and any other
folders pertaining to the second version. You can also change the boot.ini to skip offering a
Menu on bootup by either editing out the line with the second version or change the timeout=30 value to 1. You may have to go to Windows Explorer>Tools>Folder Options>View. Click Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide protected operating

If you have a separate partition for the unwanted install, just delet that partition and modify C:\boot.ini as mentioned above. Granted, I would only modify the boot.ini after you are 110% certain that you know which value to remove. I've been on the bad end of a boot.ini edit.
