How to get rid of a dell OS startup menu?

I gave a Dell optiplex 945 SFF to my brother in law from my office. It was reloaded with fresh win XP 64bit pro by our IT. However on boot up it shows two choices on the start menu both for win XP 64bit pro. you have to select one or wait 30 seconds. Is there a way to set a default or other work around to get rid of this screen?

I don't have the computer here so I'm just trying to relay info to him. Any help would be appreciated, I obviously not googling the right thing.

I think you can set it using MSConfig.

Start/run/msconfig
Click on the "boot " tab
Pick the OS you want , and delete the other one

Ahhh yes, I had it in my head it was in bios. I''ll send the info back to him.
