I just bought 512 pc4000 ram, but for some reason it won't run on my GA-K8N Pro. WHen i turn on the computer, it powers up, and at the first screen (where you see cpu speed, ram, harddrive, cd-roms etc) the computer just stops there, and doesnt go any further. now my fsb is runnign at 200mhz,and the ram is at 250mhz. do I need to overclock my cpu in order for the ram to work?? or it should just automatically work. thx

well, in the options, there is one option that says Auto detect DIMM/PCI ClK, and its on enabled. Should i put it to disable?

Okay, I have 2*256, I tried to run one stick, and it works perfectly with no problems. but when I try to run another stick, it gives me problems, why is that?

I gave it more memory voltage to 2.7, and it still does not work. sometimes it reads 512ram, then when it goes to the windows xp loading, it freezes again.

its ultra, I can;t give it more than 2.7, the motherboard setting will only give it +.2 max, thats it. why is that? Also, I called the tech support they said change the voltage to 2.85, and to 3-4-4-8, but I dunno how, if you can direct me, that would be great. thx
