Driving along the interstate, 65mph speed limit, was doing 70'ish.. as i come up to my exit, it's a long straight ramp, prob good 1/4 mile till you get to the street. At the end of the ramp, i pass by a state trooper sitting behind a sign.

Lights immediately go on, cop says do you know how fast you were going, i say, 43 or 44.. as the end of the ramp, town speed limit is 45, there is a sign right there.

Cop said i clock you at 70 at the top of the ram, and 55 at the bottom of the ramp.. so he takes my info and comes back in a few.. says, i don't see any tickets in a long time.

I'm doing my best b.s. to get out of it when a brown car, i think it was a Camaro passed the cop with music blasting and i see from the corner of my eye, an arm extend out the window and something flying.

A few seconds later, the cop was hit on the arm with a chocolate shake.. and the other arm had my license, registration and insurance.

I didn't say a thing at that point.. but the cop just said mother-fucker, turned to me as he handed me my paperwork and said you can go, I want them.

Tried to catch up to the brown car to see some major ass kicking, but there was so much traffic, it took me forever to get there.

So next time you need out of ticket, a chocolate shake seems to do the trick :)

Karma has a way of catching up with you. Sitting right under the speed limit sign where it changes is a real douchey thing to do. The small town cops in Texas do that. Looooong highway, speed limit is 70. Coming up on small town, new sign says limit is 40. Cop sits right there and tags everyone.

If I was you, I would've been SO TEMPTED to say "Wow...you gonna let them get away with that?" two seconds after the shake hit him. LOL! Glad you got out of a ticket you didn't deserve in the first place.

I knew some motorcycle cops and they told me that people would rear end them all the time just to try to fuck with them. What a stupid thing to do.

Holy Cow!! Some people are really that stupid? That's assault on a police officer with a deadly weapon. Strait to PMITA prison...do not pass go, do not collect $200.

I got a ticket on our honeymoon for something like that. :( Driving down the curvy coast highway 101 in Northern California where the speed limit constantly goes from 55 to 35 to 45 to 25. Was in the redwoods doing 55 and listening to the radio, came into a town, realized I was in a town and hit the brakes down to 35... and then saw the cop. He was sitting right where the speed limit changed. I hit my brakes first but he ticketed me anyway. :(

I thought there was a cap on how much the speed limit could be changed in a single step (no more than 15 mph or something?)

Maybe that's just a MO thing.

lmao

But wow, sitting right at the edge of an exit ramp? That's douchey.

Speed trap. It's legal in some states, Go to Lowell, MA at the end of the Lowell Connector. There are times when you see 5 cars pulled over at once. The cop just sits there, clocks your speed, tells you to pull over, then you just wait while he clocks more people.
