How to get old pen to write again?

I have one of those 4 colored pens that I barely used. Unfortuntately, it won't write even though it has plenty of ink. I tried scribbling on a piece of paper but that didn't work. I don't want to throw it away, so is there a way to get it to write again? Any advice?

Sometimes putting it in warm water works. Warms up the ink that might have dried up and clogged the end.

buy a new one :p I guess with a name like "frugalguy" you wouldn't even consider that though.

pull your thumb back with your pointer, making the first joint protrude, then write on the underside of the knucke.....works for me
