I used to always have it. It's an icon on the right side of my toolbar in XP, somewheres to the left of the time (which is on the extreme right end of the toolbar). Clicking this lets me see and reset my resolution, my nview settings, select my main display, display mode (dualview, single display, clone, etc.). I'm running a dual DVI 6600 card) and the 8.4.2.1 driver.

Why don't I have the icon? Do I have to uninstall the display and reinstall the driver to get it?

Right click on the toolbar then click properties maybe its being hidden, double check the otpions like always hide etc under the customize tab, maybe thats the issue. If thats not it then check the Nvidia control panel there is an option to show the icon in there also.

Yeah, it's not being hidden. I don't have hiding icons enabled. I can't find the option in the display properties/etc.

Try a reinstall of the drivers, should restore the icon from a completely fresh install.

Uninstall/reinstall fixed the problem. Messed up my desktop, though. I knew it would.
