Step 1
Click 'Windows Icon'
Navigate to the bottom of the screen, and click the 'Windows' icon at the bottom-left corner of the screen. Consequently, it will open up a pane with multiple options.

Select 'News'
Look for 'News' app amongst the various options displayed on the pane, and click it. It will open up a window with the news section that will provide you the latest news of the day alongside other important pieces of information.

Click 'Settings'
To the left of the 'News' window, there is a vertical bar with multiple icons. Click the 'Settings' icon from there. It will open up the settings panel for the 'News' app.

Turn On 'Notifications'
There is an option for 'Notifications' under' 'General' settings. Click the button to turn it on. It will show 'On' once it’s toggled on.
