How to get my inkjet to print blue PROPERLY

I know this is a common problem with inkjets... I just would've thought by now they would've fixed it. Blues tend to come out with a slight purplish tone on inkjets. I was wondering if there's any way to remedy this? I tried utilizing an .ICM but what I printed came out PINK! I've got an Epson Stylus Photo 890.
