how to get mouse 3 and 4 to work in quake3??

i have a logitech mouseman wheel optical, i was trying to play quake3 and only button 1 and 2 work, can't get the thumb button, middle button and the scroll buttons to work in the game, please help, oh yea, i do have the latest mouseware. thanks
 
How many times do i have to post this? to get extra mouse buttons and wheel to work, u must end task "Em_exec". This will make all the features included with Mouseware to stop working in windows, but all the mouse stuff will work in games.

to get the mouseware features back, u could restart windows or enter Mouseware properties.
