hi, i have tried to return my pny geforcefx 5600 for a radeon 9700np but the guy wouldnt let me get a refund because he said that it is already open, no refund, exchange for the same item only, so it looks like im stuck with the FX 5600.

I was wondering if anyone out there has a geforceFX 5600 and can tell me how i can get the most out of this card, such as tweaks or general nvidia tweaks or successful overclock, please share if possible. many thanks

:) its not that bad a card ... for the price anyways .. it runs just a little faster then a Geforce 4 Ti 4200 card and i'm 100% sure at the end of the year it will be running 50% faster with the mature drivers

You cant Tweak it or make it really run that much better all you can do is wait for New drivers.

Remember the Geforce 4 Ti 4200 Card is now 50% faster then when it first came out due to drivers alone over 1 year of being available to buy

Same with the ATI 9700pro .. when it first came out it was just as fast as a Ti4600 but now its running at is full potential due to drivers. and the fact its been out for 1 year ... same goes for the new FX5600 wait for new drivers and watch the performace increase

With overclocking i got a Albatron Geforce FX 5600 card from its defalt @t

325Mhz Core and 500Mhz Ram to 370 Core and 600Mhz Ram you dont get allot of an overclock with these cards because they use the old single packaging the new batch of FX of 5600 card will come out after the FX 5600 Ultra thats clocked at 400Mhz Core and 750Mhz Ram the new FX 5600 no pro's will clock at 400+ Mhz Core but like i said you get what you pay for and for around $150 for the FX 5600 you cant go wrong :)

couldn't have said it any better

i had the PNY geforcefx 5600 ultra Rev2 for 3 weeks thnks to NVIDIA and PNY for the sample and they attached driver version 44.67, i couldn't tell anyone this b4 because i still had the product..but after benchmarking it, i can tell u its 7% faster than 44.03 and 23% faster than the 5600ultra rev1 thnks to flipchip (the hot stuff is on top now, so no more bottom of video card getting hotter than the top), higher clocks and a bunch of other new chip revisions and such.
if anyone wants a review of that card just ask me...because i still don't think im allowed to post this information to everyone..

how did i get my 5600 rev2? =D a nice hour long chat with chris malachowsky at nVidia in santa clara ;)
