I'm not sure if this is hardware dependent or software dependent, but I would like to get more resolutions in XP. I have a ATI Radeon 7500 and a Sony G220 Monitor. Right now I'm running 1280x1024 which is a nice resolution, but does not maintan the 4:3 ratio. I find that 1600x1200 is too small, and 1024x768 is too big. I would like to have a 1280x960 resolution, but I cannot select it under Display settings. Is it possible set my display to this setting?

Thanks!

Go into advanced settings and under display click on ''list all modes'' and you should be able to choose the one you want.

I'm pretty sure this is a function of your monitor, it's drivers and your Video card, it's drivers. I am running my

desktop at 1280X960X32 (85Hz) on XP now.

I guess I can't get it... The resolution is not under the menu from list all modes.
