Have commercials with alarm clocks in them that play in the morning. Why would I want to be reminded of that sound so early in the morning? GTFO of here with that noise

Why don't you lie down and tell me about it.

In a similar fashion... the quickest way to get me to vote for your opponent is to cold call me and ask, "Does Johnny Blowhard have your vote? Let me tell you why I believe in him..." Fuck you, how'd you get this number? I will not be voting for that blowhard Blowhard.

Add blaring car horns and emergency sirens to the OPs post. I keep the radio on all night so not just morning annoyances. Ive complained about this or years also.

Man I hate the typical alarm sound. I use a chime-type sound on my cell phone for my backup alarm, and thankfully the Amazon Echo devices have similar chime alarm options. I'd rather not wake up to an immediate heart attack and die.

NPR is horrible for this. "TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT" here we are at the National Train Museum!

Radio stations that play commercials with sirens can go straight to hell. I always whip my head around when I'm driving even if I've heard the commercial before.

I have an alarm cat. Promptly at 7am every morning he comes in and jumps on the foot of the bed, meows 3-4 times, and leaves....and he has food in his bowl.

Ive got two alarm cats, one is set to 5AM and one is set to 7AM. I get up at 6am lol.

The 5AM alarm cat will jump between me and the gf and meow a bunch, if that gets no response he will head butt me until i wake up. I then usually grab him and stuff him under the blanket with me and try and lul him to sleep for another hour holding him in my arms, usually works ok.

The 7AM model only has the gf to deal with as im up by then, to her though its a total game. She will sit far down by the foot of the bed out of reach and yell at my gf till she wakes up, gf then usually throws things at the cat, which is ready for it and dodges them like its a game.

Get a CD (remember those?) clock radio. Burn a mix CD and wake up to whatever sounds you want.

He's just seeing if you're still alive. If not, he would start eating your dead body because he hates his food.

Ever learn how to reset those things? Every morning at 4:30. This one is a silent alarm though, just jumps on and off the bed till I get up and let him out.

Friend's wife has one. She bitches about it. If she's out of town, he resets it by tossing it against the wall.
