Well, here's my predicament:
About five months back, my ibook died, and I have been working with my folks' Gateway for a good deal of time, saving up for a new laptop. I'm gettting a Compaq 3000Z (see hot deals forum), but I want all the napster'd music I have on my hard drives, along with about fifteen episodes of Futurama and other things I'm liable to get in trouble for downloading again.
So, do you know if I can simply shove the hard drive in a standard 2.5" external enclosure, or do I need to reformat it? And do you know of a program to access information off of a macintosh partition?
