How to get into CMOS Setup w/Sony VAIO?

I'm referring to a computer which does not display any message on screen during startup indicating what key to press to go into CMOS Setup. This also makes the timing of hitting a key to go into CMOS Setup somewhat of a guessing game. I presume a repeated hitting may be necessary to catch it at the right time.

F1,F2, Delete

Try hitting tab or esc to show the system starting up.

I held F2 down right after hitting the power button, and got into CMOS Setup. Thanks.
