Go to display setting, and advanced prperties and go to the Geforce tab.
On the Desktop utilities section, check the box that says "enable dualview"
Then you'll have to reboot.
You'll have to have the displays both hooked up already before you reboot. Then the thing should come up on screen to guid you through the rest I think.

Piccies to help (probably an older driver version)
Newer drivers (probably more helpful for you)
That's the check box I mean (in green)

There are two multi-display modes when using an nVidia nView-based video card. There is the standard Windows multi-display mode known as DualView.

And there is the nVidia one known as nView. ATI has their Hydravision and Matrox has their Dual-Head/Triple-Head/etc.

You enabled DualView Extended Desktop by disabling nView Clone and by Enabling or Attaching the secondary monitor under Display Properties/Settings Tab.

By design, Extended Desktop does not give you either a Start button or task bar on the secondary or subsequent displays.

Do a search online for Ultra-mon it's shareware. This is a great multi-display application that allows you to have different backgrounds for each display as well as the task bar on each display with the specific apps shown (on the taskbar) for that particular output.

Unfortunately, no Start button on the secondary and subsequent displays.
