How to get Contacts out of an Outlook .pst file

My wife has used Outlook for her email for several years. Long ago she complained that it was going really slow, and it dawned on me that her inbox and sent etc were getting huge. Lots to work with. So I showed her how to create subfolders and so she would go in every few months and make a folder like Feb2006 to June 2006 and move those out of the current inbox. then her daily stuff would run faster again.

Yesterday she showed me that it was freezing. not just going slow, but 'Not Responding'. Took a while before I noticed that the outlook.pst file was ... 2,096,*** so she had reached 2GB and I bet she hit a file size limit. Boink! I could not even get in and try to delete to get room to move. I renamed the file and Zoom! it ran like a race horse again.

But gone were all the folders, and gone was ... the gigantic Address Book (Contacts folder)

I have not been able to figure out how to get Outlook to fish the Contacts out of the old, now renamed file. It looks like it can get address files out of Outlook Express, Eudora, Netscape email etc, but out of an old discarded .pst file -- I cant see how to do it.

Any help?

Thanks a LOT
