How to get cdrwin to work in win2k with lite on 12X10X32 burner?

I've just purchased the lite on 12X10X32 burner. I test it with Nero and it burns fine. However, I can't get cdrwin to recognize that I have a burner installed. Any help?
 
2 possible problems off the top of my head -

Do you have an ASPI layer installed? If not the links are at CDRWIN's web site.

Do you have a newer version of CDRWIN? I was using v 3.6b and it would not recognize my Acer 10x8x32 when I got it. I updated to v3.8d and it works fine.
 
yes I added the adaptec aspi layer and I tried cdrwin version 3.8a to 4.o. No go. Just keep getting the message "no cdrw device found" or something like that.

I checked cdrwin's website and looked at the supported drive list. I did not see lite on anywhere on the list. You might want to contact the company[goldenhawk] and see if they can offer any help. Otherwise, it appears that you are in the market for a different burning program.
