how to get best 2D+TV quality without paying for 3D?

umm.. title says it all.
Want good 2D DVD and tv-out but no need for 3D.. any thoughts?

Well, the Radeon LE with TV out is dirt cheap.. it's almost like you're getting pretty awesome 3d for free.

2d is spectacular, ATI's dvd player is awesome quality and uses the hardware well. I'd go for it personally, unless you were looking for something even cheaper than 50 bucks or something.

No one in Australia seems to stock them :(
Oh yeah, there are LE versions.. but nothing comes with video out
