How to get as close to 700MB as you can with VBR Xvid/Divx and MP3?

What should I do to get as close to 700MB as I can with VBR Xvid/Divx and VBR MP3?

I'm no expert on this but as long as you get somewhere around 730MB then it usually fits on a CDR in my experience.

I just use the calculators though.

don't use vbr mp3 for the audio. it makes it a pain to cut later on, and it doesn't save that much.

Anywhere up to about 710/715MB will fit on 99% of the CDRs with overburn.

DL Gordian Knot and encode with that using their guides. You'll have it at 700Mb and a few KB.
