How to get 'around' a proxy ISP

I live in a middle east country with only one ISP, run by the government. The internet is censored but it is censored too much. I can't even access sites about 'bed wetting' which would be useful for my family.

Is there a way to get around this proxy? Is there any other information you need before you can help me?

This is usually not an approved subject on this forum. Check out peek-a-booty though. And search google.com for information on using anonymous proxies. Don't get in too much trouble.
