I was sure I could find a solution to this on Google but no joy. The one suggestion I found didn't work.
I have Visio drawings embedded in Word files. These were saved as Visio 5. The problem is that if someone who happens to have Visio 2000 or 2002 edits the drawing, it ends up being saved as 2000 or 2002. That screws the people who have Visio 5.
So I need to find a way to have them maintained in Visio 5 format, even if someone with a later version edits them from within the Word document.
