Hello, I will be flying around the country a lot for the next few months to do interviews. Because I don't want to miss the least amount of school possible (I don't want to ruin my grades, especially since I will be doing A LOT of interviews), my schedule is not too flexible, but I will most often know at least 2 weeks in advance of the days I need to travel. I've been looking into priceline.com, but it is kinda complex, and sometimes I need to leave the next day, but after the interview, not anytime during the day like they want. And I figure that staying extra days will just cost me more in terms of hotel fees and whatnot. What is the best way to get reasonably cheap tickets? I'm willing to do some work for it, but not too much, as I have a lot of other things going on right now. I've heard Southwest and JetBlue usually give good deals. Should I just stick with those two companies, or is there a better option?

I will be flying domestically only, and only want non-stops.

With that short of a notice it'll be hard. Like The Worminator says travel agents are good. There are some other sites too I think like flycheap.com and other.

not sure what they're called but STA sounds familiar. i go to UCLA by the way. i think there is also a place called Council Travel... dunno if they are school affiliated or geared towards students.

My friend recommended STA travel, but probably any travel agent can get you a good deal.

If you're lucky, you can fly mostly southwest airlines like I did to get to my interviews.
