Also, I wasn't implying 400MHz FSB was difficult on current chipsets (although it was on my Nvidia chipsets and some older chipsets with 4 dimms populated), my point was that running 1:1 with FSB and RAM is just much nicer than say, 389MHz FSB at 3.5GHz with RAM strapped asynchronously.

I'd rather be running 400 FSB with 5:6 or 4:5 than 1:1
Async RAM ftw on Intel chipsets!

It gives better performance, especially with mobos like ours, where 1:1 forces you to run a much looser tRD than you can at 5:6/4:5 & above.

Alas, i cannot do DDR2-1121 stably, even if i loosen to 6-6-6...
