Ok, I really have no idea where to put this question so figured I'd stick it here...
How could I set up a PC to accept input from a touchscreen LCD (No problem there) and then based upon the input of a range of say...8 different selections, output each selection to a different source. Such that the LCD would display Left, Right, Up, Down, Up left, Up right, Down Left, Down Right and then based upon the selection would output from different channels so that each channel could be wired to a different control unit?
To give the example I would be using, I want to set up a Car Computer that would not only do A/V but also replace the OEM climate controls. That would remove ALL buttons and whatnot from the dash, leaving only a TouchScreen. Then that would have climate control settings for vent selector, tempature and fan speed. But, I have NO idea how to set up a PC to output to the different units.
Any ideas?
