The netbook I have originally came with win7 home premium. I wiped the drive and had ubuntu on the netbook for quite a long time. A friend wants to buy my netbook but wants windows 7 on it. No OS dvd came with the netbook so how do I go about getting the asus OEM windows 7 dvd?

Does it have a restore partition or did you nuke it with the Linux installation. Contact Asus ans see if they will send you a restore disk for a small nominal fee. Or you could be creative ... as long as it came with a license.

Most likely. Unless there are specific drivers for the netbook, in which case I'd expect them to be available on the Asus website.

Get a generic OEM Disk and use the number key off of your COA Sticker and then activate you may or may not have to call microsoft to activate which should be painless.
