after installing some windows update for my samsung 710t i left my monitor on before i went to bed and today it said "check signal cable" meaning it acts as if the video card won;t send any signal through dvi.
so how do i check if my dvi port is working? or how do i get it to pick up my monitor agagin?
the monitor doesn;t respond at all when i boot up but the vga port works just fine.
whne i connect my monitor to the vga port my monitor goes from a "check signal cable" message to a black screen wich means th video card is sending something.
