How to get 320*240 resolution?

Hi this might seem odd but I need to go below 640*480 to 320*240 to be able to watch stuff while encoding it at 320*240.
Possible?

Most video programs allow you to scale the video to full screen. it' looksa lot better scaled to 1027x768 than full screen, at 320x200, even if that was possible.

U don't have the option of scaling while capturing. I' using virtual Dub to capture. So the answer is: not possible?

One time I had a program crash and Windows somehow ended up in 320X240. It was really weird but it worked. There may be some strange way to set it to that.
