When you have a fast metabolism how do you suppose to gain weight ? I am 5'8 and 121 pounds and feel I can never gain weight. I either always lose weight or stay the same. I can't eat a lot easily because I get full fast. I don't want to exercise either.

You're shit out of luck.

How am I suppose to eat more when it makes me feel sick ? When I get to full I start to not feel good and I don't like forcing myself to eat more than my stomach can handle.

crt is correct, I'm sad to say. If you want to gain weight you need to take in more calories than you burn. Which means eating more.

But you can gain weight, you just have to adjust to eating more than you do right now. Each meal eat just a little more than you want.

I think I need some insane amount of calories each day just to gain weight. Like 6000 to 7000 calories.

No, you don't. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Also, in August you posted this:

in the "Get your skinny ass/fat ass in shape" contest! thread. What changed in the last four months?

You say you "don't want to eat more" that right there is one reason it will be hard to reach your goals. If you don't want to do it yourself why would others help? Its not hard to eat more, at first yes. You need to stretch your stomach out and get used to eating larger quantities, you will be uncomfortable at times but soon you will get used to it. I was going through the same thing once. In order to get a large amount of calories without having to eat a lot of solid food I would make these monster calorie shakes. I would use calorie rich ingredients like ice cream, peanut butter, protein powder, olive oil, whole milk, whatever I could come up with.

You might try that in order to put on weight.

It's not absolutely necessary that you eat more at your regular meals. Instead, you should be eating more meals per day than you have in the past. I eat 5-7 meals per day (where my 600 cal. CytoGainer shakes count as 1 "meal," and I usually have 2/day). They're not huge meals, really. Sometimes its only 1.5 peanut butter and honey sandwich with a tall glass of milk or a nice large bowl of fat-free cottage cheese with applesauce. Those are easy meals to squeeze in among your regular meals.

You need to break up your necessary intake into more meals throughout the day. So instead of 3 huge meals, eat 6 smaller ones. Your body will adjust to increasing the intake. The first time I ever bulked, I went from around 1800-2000kcal a day to about 4k a day... didn't even work up to it. It sucked for a couple days until I got use to it... then it was easy and I even found myself eating more than I intended.

I find that highly unlikely. Go to this site:

fitday

and enter in a typical day's diet. If you know the exact nutrition info for the food you eat (i.e. it is listed on a label) then enter it into fitday as a custom food instead of searching for it in their database.

Most skinny guys who swear they eat "a ton" are surprised to find they barely clear 2k calories a day when they actually calculate it all out.

One way to get used to eating the increased volume of food is to rely on shakes for the bulk of your calories. You can make protein shakes that contain over 1000 calories and are quite easy to drink by using the following ingrediants:

whey protein
milk
natural peanut butter
oats
olive oil

Well, if you don't want to exercise, the only weight you're going to gain is fat. You don't magically gain muscle just by eating. What do you have against exercising and why do you want to gain weight i fit's not through exercising? I think you're confused as to how your body works. You DO NOT have to take in 6k-7k calories to gain weight. You'd be surprised how few calories you can actually take in and be satiated. I didn't realize I was taking in only ~2200 until I started recording stuff. I'm now trying to gain muscle and my calorie intake is 3000. If you're a "hard gainer," then you're going to have to eat a lot. You can do this easiest by eating often and not letting your body get hungry. At first, it was hard to take in 3k calories, but it got easy within a few days. There are a ton of websites on how to gain weight, but you will find VERY few that will tell you how to gain weight without exercising.

I noticed the "I don't want to exercise either". Wasn't sure if the OP meant he didn't want to exercise at all or doesn't feel like exercising when he gets full.
